Soetlief Marketing Partner Opportunity

The Soetlief Marketing Partnership is a fundraising initiative whereby schools independently assist us in promoting the Soetlief Online Portal, an Interactive Online Social and Emotional Skills Development Programme for kids, via their own and existing communication channels with parents, in exchange for financial benefit as an ongoing fundraising campaign. Our Partnership is based on giving and receiving!

How will your school benefit from the Soetlief fundraising initiative?

1. An ongoing financial contribution for fundraising purposes
Marketing Partners will receive 10% off subscription fees (estimated at R24) per subscribed learner, each month, for as long as a learner is subscribed to the Soetlief Programme. The Soetlief Programme, aimed at 3 age-group levels, consists of 3 x 6-month learning segments, with the entire age group programme spanning over a period of 18 months. Only registered Marketing Partners will receive this financial contribution.

During the registration process, the parent will be prompted to indicate the school the learner attends. Once the first learners subscribe to the programme, payments to the Marketing Partner will start. Money will be paid directly into your nominated bank account on the last day of the month (one month in arrears), on a continuous basis for as long as the subscription is paid in full. Banking details can be supplied on the Marketing Partner Sign-up page.

2. No administration from the school’s side
This partnership will NOT require any administration from participating schools. Marketing Partners will not engage in any sales transactions or handling of queries. Marketing Partners only create awareness about the Soetlief social and emotional learning platform amongst parents through existing communication and networking channels.

Soetlief will provide our Marketing Partners with useful and relevant articles, marketing material, videos and other resources to inform and equip parents. Partner involvement is therefore limited to posting, uploading and sharing of this content on an ongoing basis. Soetlief will handle all portal- or programme-related admin, which includes registration, payments, support and general admin.

3. Monthly feedback regarding registered learners and parent participation
Marketing Partners will receive monthly feedback regarding school subscribers. Monthly reports on total subscriptions, amount of subscriptions per age level, and lessons completed by subscribers will be sent electronically. The Soetlief Programme encourages active parent participation. Soetlief is not in any way an assessment tool, but rather serves to inform and empower parents and develop self-awareness in children.

What marketing material will the Marketing Partner receive?

1. Monthly social and emotional skills articles to publish
Soetlief Marketing Partners will receive short-format articles monthly, covering relevant, everyday social and emotional pain points that parents and kids struggle with. Partners can share this content with parents via their existing communication channels. These articles will be educational and informative in nature. Click here to view all articles.

2. Short videos to post and share
Soetlief will provide short videos that address pain points, parent challenges and solutions in a fun, yet professional and educational manner. Video links can be shared on social media and other digital channels. View some of our existing video links here or visit the Soetlief YouTube channel.

3. School newspaper adverts and advertorial content
Partners with digital/published newsletters will receive promotional adverts & advertorials in digital format to use.

4. Brochures and other printed marketing material
Soetlief will provide printed brochures (on request) to be distributed by means of classroom handouts, mailed directly to parents, or handed out at open days and school events. Posters can also be requested for notice boards and classrooms.

What do we require from Soetlief Partners?

1. Access to available communication channels to parents and teachers
Soelief does not require mailing lists or parent information, only access to your existing parent community, through your already established, available and permitted channels of communication, whether digital or otherwise. Soetlief will provide relevant and useful content and marketing material that the Marketing Partner then distributes through posting, sharing and uploading of this content.

2. Ongoing communication to parents during the partnership
For ongoing fundraising, Soetlief Marketing Partners are required to post, share and distribute relevant and useful Soetlief content (whether in digital or printed format) on an ongoing basis – ideally monthly or quarterly - for a long as the Soetlief Marketing Partnership is in place and the Marketing Partner receives financial benefit.

3. Newsletter/D6 Communicator
Soetlief will provide articles, videos, brochures, marketing-related information and other useful links to be published on existing communication platforms, like the D6 Communicator and digital/printed newsletters. The information will inform and educate parents around social and emotional pain points and skills development for children.

4. Website Links
Soetlief will provide links to the Soetlief website and Online Portal where parents can get more information about the Programme, access free lessons and register their child for the Programmes. Marketing Partners will be featured on the Soetlief Partner page.

5. Social Media posts
Partners with social media pages (Facebook and Instagram accounts), will receive monthly posts (post content, relevant designs and links) to publish on their social media pages. All posts, professionally produced for this purpose, will be useful and relevant, empowering parents through articles, images and videos.

6. Class WhatsApp Groups
Partners who make use of WhatsApp groups to communicate with parents will receive links that can be distributed to parents, informing them about the Soetlief Programme, features, benefits and other relevant and useful content.

7. Talks & Open days
Soetlief representatives will be available for short informative presentations on parent evenings and open days or at teacher meetings.

8. Classroom awareness
Soetlief will provide the school with free lessons to distribute amongst teachers for use in the classroom. The free lessons will be educational and give learners exposure to the Soetlief Programme.

9. Other Marketing channels or opportunities not mentioned
Soetlief can also get involved in any other marketing initiatives within their budget & time constraints.

How will the Partnership come to an end?

The Marketing Partnership can be terminated at any time. The partnership is dependent on both parties continuously delivering on the deliverables: communication in exchange for funds. Should the Marketing Partner no longer wish to give access to its communication channels to receive financial contributions, termination can be given in writing, with a one-month notice period applicable.
